Danny Ruby has been one of the best resources we have found since living in Boston. When we first bought our new home, it needed a lot of renovations, from some structural repair, to cosmetic updates all throughout. Danny completed all the work to our expectations and beyond. Once that project was complete, we have continued to use Danny for any other small projects we have taken on and additional repairs that have come up- and have referred him to all our friends. We are planning to purchase another condo as an investment property and know that we will be able to turn it into something amazing with Danny’s help. It’s such a relief to know we have a contractor we can count on. Usually construction and renovations can be such a headache and it can be really scary going into a project like this without knowing you have someone you trust and can rely on. You hear horror stories all the time because construction is something the average person just doesn’t know the ins and outs of—I’m so glad to have found someone we trust so we’re not going through the motions blindly. I am the Principal at Warren Square Design, an interior design firm in Boston. I have used Danny Ruby on a number of jobs for clients including framing, sheet rocking and wood floor installations.
Most recently, Danny just completed building an entire wall of custom cabinetry for a client. He was able to follow the complex construction drawings including the installation of multiple pairs of a special hinge that the design required. His cabinet making skills showed when I asked him to duplicate 6 doors based on just on an inspiration photograph. Danny built a prototype door, and then was able to make revisions to it that resulted in a door that was exactly that I wanted. He also offered suggestions on small construction details that resulted in a beautiful wall of cabinets.
Danny is a highly skilled carpenter and a great choice for residential construction. He does high quality work, is easy to work with, leaves the job site completely clean and is fairly priced. I will continue to use Xstructural for my client’s jobs.
